Description: The Skull is made via Glass Kiln Casting. Kiln casting is a type of glass casting in which cold glass is placed over a mold inside of a kiln. The kiln is brought up to molten temperatures, causing the glass to flow into the mold. The glass object is annealed and cooled as the kiln is slowly brought back down to room temperature.
Metaphysical Properties: Skulls are old symbols of courage and strength. They are associated with the ability to defeat the odds, overcome obstacles, and recognize and deal with danger bravely and boldly. Skull symbolism represents personal power and is linked with warrior spirits and valorous force. Used as a symbol of protection and a sign of victory, symbolic use of the skull is as a representation of death, mortality and the unachievable nature of immortality.
