Description: The Glass Sphere is made via the Glass Kiln Fusing Process. Kiln fusing is a process in which cold glass is placed within a mold inside a kiln. The kiln is brought up to molten temperatures, causing the glass to flow into the mold. The glass object is annealed and cooled as the kiln is slowly brought back down to room temperature.
Lamination is the process where optical museum quality epoxy adhesive is applied and the glass is then ground and polished into shape."
